we had a nice afternoon with the family from my mums fam.

opa and oma will go to Portugal this week for 3 mnds.

we are anjoying mum and renee s company here. they have seen s loads of snow and its snowing again. we had over 40 cm here in Groningen.

how is everyone going??>

it's "sinterklaasfeest" today and we are waiting for Sinterklaas to come to our place.

he went to Naomi's school yesterday and Naomi said:"

mum i talked to sinterklaas and gave him a hand. it was a bit scary but he is very nice. and i got 2 barby dolls from zwarte piet!!

i also have some photo's of my birthday.... we had a nice party.

im going to the aireport with my dad in a minute to pick up mum vanderveen and renee. i've just checked there flight and i think they are somwhere on heathrow airport in Londen.

well im going to upload those photo's.

It's a pitty you can't see the little light in there but the 'lampions' are very cute. Naomi made her 'lollypop lampion' at school and Chanel her 'paddestoel lampion' at the neighbours place.

they loved it.

the weather was ok, a little bit of rain but not to cold!! at the backery they got little custurdbuns, and at the supermarket they got a bag full of 'lekkere dingen':)

we walked for a little hour. it was quite nice with the 4 of us! real gezellig with all those kids and little lights in the street!

Naomi's teacher gave a (birthday) party.Naomi dressed up like a princes and you can she her dancing in the passage at school with her class mate ;Jesse.

We had a Church BBQ and the kids could get a nice painting on their face :)

whats new...
well not much i think, but we do have some photo's.
Paul still hasn't got work....5 weeks allready and so i'm trying to do as much relieve work as i can but pfieuw thats not easy. Paul failed for his theorie test yesterday for his driver license. yes he has to do it all over again ( welcome to Holland :))
Authum has been beautiful, so many yellow/brown/orange leafes on the street!! so 'mooi"

Naomi had her teachers birthday party at school. she dressed up like a princes! so cute. i've got some photo's of her and her 'best' friend at school Jesse. those two are unreal hey.

Chanel is enjoying the days at home. she is a real 'poppenmoedertje' and can play so well on her own.

we are all healty, no flue yet....i just read that there are another 5 people died of the flue ( its cold the mexican flue here) 2 girl in our street have had it and some more people we know from church.

the girls made a sticker/paper, they can put a sticker on the paper everyday and so they can see when oma and auntie renee are coming! and thats on sinterklaasavond!!!

coming monday its Chanels 3th birthday!!
Sylvia:" Happy birthday!!!!!!!! hope the breakfast was yum!! :) wish we could have been there.
the 11th is Sint Maarten, the kids walk with there home/school-made 'lampion' and ring the doorbells and sing a nice song ( sgot nothing to do with halloween and is way diffrent ) then they get a lolly or so ( i'll make some photo's of Naomi and Chanel then.
the 21st is my birthday
the 5 mum and renee are coming and Sinterklaasavond..

so lots of things coming up.

We are missing you all a lot. we would love to pop in for a coffee, but you're always welcome to come over here!!!!!

hoeraaaaaaaaaa 5 jaar getrouwd alweer!!!!!!!!

there for we went a way for a weekend!! yep just with the 2 of us!!!!!

we went to Emmen, 45 min drive in a 4 **** Hotel. so nice. we loved the buffet every morning. it was great.....bacon & egg, croissant, buns, suikerbrood, raisenbread, fruitsalade, egg, krentebollen, koffie broodjes........lots and lots more......i think we've tryed everything everymorning :) :) can't get enough of that!!!!!

we went shopping on saturday and went for a nice bushwalk on sunday! beautiful area!!! we'd love to go there again...
